Why should I wear a face covering, such as a fabric mask?

The WHO advises governments to encourage the general public to use fabric masks in settings where physical distancing of at least 1 metre is not possible, such as on public transport, in shops, or in other confined or crowded environments (via: WHO).

What material are your masks made of?

Our fabric masks are 100% cotton, making them extremely breathable. 

How many layers of material do your masks contain?

Our masks come with 2 or 3 layers. The 3-layer masks have a pocket for an extra filter which comes with the mask or can be bought separately. 

What size are the masks and how do they fit?

Our masks are all one size (excl. children's masks) and have a great regular fit but also have adjustable straps, allowing them to be loosened or tightened, to ensure maximum comfort for all customers. Our 3-layer masks also contain a nose wire for a snug fit. We have two shapes, pleated and 3D. Pleated have more coverage, while 3D are more fitted to your face.

What do you recommend if you wear glasses?

Our customer feedback is that our pleated 2-layer masks are the best for preventing your glasses steaming up. Simply tuck the mask up on your nose and under the rim of your glasses.

Can you wash the face masks?

Yes, our fabric masks are washable at 60 degrees.

What price are the masks?

Our masks have a price range of €5 - €11.50.

Do you stock masks for children?

Yes, we stock easy to use, re-usable, adjustable masks for children with a pocket for an extra filter. 

What other protective equipment do you stock?

We stock face coverings in fabric mask styles, scarf styles, and face shields, as well as extra filters and cases for masks.

What level of protection is offered by the filters?

Our high quality PM2.5 Activated Carbon Filters offer 5 layers of additional protection.

I have sensitive skin and I find the masks irritating, what do you recommend?

Silk masks are best for sensitive skin, and are also very breathable, helping to avoid 'macne'. We have a new range of silk masks arriving next week.

Yes, we carry a beautiful range of silk, lace, and embroidered masks suitable for brides, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and guests.
